Service Description

Payment is prior to service. At the end of the month, you are provided a specialized receipt (called a "superbill") that you may send to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I am not in network with any insurance company; this is because I don't want the insurance company to make decisions about your care, and I am able to spend more time doing the work for you rather than for the insurance company. You can choose to contact your insurance and ask about "out of network coverage" for therapeutic interventions [e.g., how much your deductible is, after the deductible what percentage are you reimbursed for, how many codes per month and per day are allotted, how to submit a claim with a receipt/superbill]. Dr. Blegen has opted out as a provider for Medicare & Medicaid, meaning Medicare or Medicaid will not accept a superbill; this is likely true for other federal insurances, but call your insurance provider to make sure.
